DESCRIPTION

As part of the development of new energy infrastructure in the Viterbo area, CR Project Service managed the turnkey construction of a new 150/30 kV user electrical substation and its associated High Voltage connection cable line in the municipality of Tuscania (VT).

The project involved our operational teams in the full execution of both civil works and the subsequent assembly of electromechanical equipment. The primary technical highlight of the project concerned the setup of the transformation section: to meet high power requirements and optimize the plant’s generation capacity, two power transformers were installed instead of the standard single-unit configuration.

The works concluded with the successful connection of the infrastructure to the National Electricity Grid (RTN), followed by the plant’s commissioning and energization in November 2024—reaffirming CR Project Service’s reliability in managing complex high-voltage projects.
