DESCRIPTION
The LIMES17 project, located in the municipality of Monreale (PA), represents a major milestone in the infrastructure development of CR Project Service. The scope of work encompassed the design, supply, integrated construction, and subsequent maintenance activities for a new 220 kV electrical substation and its associated connection power line.
The facility serves a major photovoltaic plant featuring a capacity of 86.2 MWp direct current (DC) and 93.03 MW alternating current (AC).
This project marks two key firsts for our company: it is the first electrical substation built by CR Project Service in Sicily, as well as the first constructed with an operating voltage of 220 kV. The successful completion of the project reflects our continuous growth and the strengthening of our technical capabilities in delivering large-scale high- and extra-high-voltage infrastructure nationwide.
